Mara Elatia Camp is a luxurious tented retreat perched along the Oloololo Escarpment within Kenya’s renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Situated approximately 280 kilometers from Nairobi, Mara Elatia Camp is accessible by both air and road.

Travelers opting for air transport can take a 45 minute flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip, located about 10 kilometers from the camp. Upon arrival, the camp provides complimentary transfers, ensuring a seamless journey through the scenic landscapes of the Mara.

For those preferring a scenic journey by road, the drive takes about six hours via Narok town, entering the Maasai Mara National Reserve through Sekenani Gate and proceeding to Oloololo Gate, which is just minutes from the camp.

Mara Elatia Camp features 12 spacious and elegantly furnished tents, designed to blend modern comfort with traditional safari aesthetics. Guests can choose between Double Tents, which offer king-size beds ideal for couples, or Twin Tents, perfect for friends or family traveling together. Two of the Double Tents and one of the Twin Tents also include a separate sitting area, adding an extra layer of comfort to the experience.

Each tent is well appointed with en-suite bathrooms that include flush toilets, washbasins, and rain showers with hot water. Private balconies allow guests to take in breathtaking views of the Mara plains, providing an intimate connection with nature. For added convenience, the tents come equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, electric blankets for cooler nights, and mosquito nets to ensure a peaceful sleep.

The camp’s communal areas further enhance the safari experience. The open air dining area allows guests to savor gourmet meals while taking in stunning views of the landscape. A cozy lounge and bar offer a comfortable setting to unwind with a selection of beverages, while the open deck design ensures uninterrupted wildlife viewing.
